  29. $  and include custom patches with them. You can do this now for 
  30. $  playmidi can't you? IE for a midi file named woof.mid have a
  31. $  patch config file called woof.cfg that maps in the custom
  32. $   pat files? I haven't tried this for a while. It also doesn't
  33. $  help under windows of course..

  37. But it works like a dream for DOS and Linux, which both use the .cfg files
  38. (PlayMidi for DOS, Adagio for Linux).  Linux even adds some extensions to
  39. Gravis' .cfg format.  Is there some reason Windows cannot make use of .cfg
  40. files, besides someone not having written the driver/app to do so?

  75. PatchMan must be doing program change on SOME channel, but maybe not
  76. on channel 1 which the keyboard is transmitting on. Can you send
  77. a program change on channel 1 from the keyboard? It will work then.
